An elegant five-piece jewellery set from Russia, made of 585 (14 kt) rose gold with oval Siberian amethysts in cabochon cut approx. 27 ct. The stones have a natural origin and are purple in colour.
The earrings, the ring and the pendant probably come from the 1920s/30s. The necklace was acquired later, according to the hallmark it is from 1958. The earrings have a Russian clasp and drop like graceful droplets. Overall, an extraordinarily pretty jewellery set.

Earrings: "585" and an unreadable maker's mark.
Chain: "585" and "Star with hammer and sickle" and "M" for Moscow.
