The Charlotte di Vita Collections are created using advanced quality and safety control measures, but the production methods are the same as the traditional techniques used in 18th century Georgian England. Made individually, each enamel teapot takes up to four days to complete and entails more than 129 skilled tasks. Continuing an ancient art-form prized by collectors since 18th century, each Charlotte di Vita Collection enamel piece is made from 19 individually-cut copper pieces. Copper ist shaped, tempered, fired and etched into a solid form, prior to multiple firings of hand-dip-ped porcelain enamel. The design outli e is than painstakingly applied and fired. Using fine-hair miniature brushes, craftspeople handpaint detailed individual vitreous enamel paintings. In all, 129tasks are required to make one tea pot. Each piece is individually handcrafted, ensuring that no two pieces are ever identical.
