Acrylic spray paint and hand cut stencils on opaque plexiglass with a high gloss varnish.
Including a hand painted packaging box, spray paint on cardboard.
The plexiglass is the top layer of a lightbox that provides the painting with 12 different background colors.
Pick the color that fits your mood or use the different color changing sequences for a more active experience.
With the lights off the painting returns to his original clear form which is beautiful too.
LIGHTBOX comes with an easy remote control and all batteries are included.
5 made, 4 for sale.
Making LIGHTBOX was a real experiment with paint and varnish reacting differently every time with the plexiglass. So even though stencils were used on these pieces they have all different little cracks, bleeds and imperfections that make m all originals and are part of the piece itself.
