Bridle Elements:
Ancient Bronze and Iron Bimetallic Bridle Bits, 2-5 Century A.D.
Complicated metallurgical workmanship combining iron and bronze.
Cast as one piece. Round interlocking center rings in perpendicular planes to each other. Iron bars terminated on each end with round-shaped loops and each has Bronze Ring inside. Central part is movable. Bronze rings have noble dark green patina.
L. 21 cm., Bronze rings D. 5 cm.
Condition: Excellent Condition, Metals are stable - conservation done by professional Archeoligical Museum specialists.
