Dell'Orto was a graduate in engineering, but devoted himself to painting.
He was a pupil of the school of Giovan Battista Lelli and Eleuterio Pagliano.
He Painted landscapes of high mountains of Brianza, views of the lakes.
In the portraits he approaches manner of Daniele Ranzoni and Tranquillo Cremona.
Extremely jealous of his artistic production, he repeatedly bought his paintings sold at the exhibition and made copies.
His paintings are mostly kept by his grandchildren, but they also appear in public galleries and private collections.
CONDITIONS : Relined painting, visible restorations in all four corners and crackles, on the back of the canvas visible spots of color.
