A pair of Temple Lions, or Shishi, currently guarding my garden and shed. They are ceramic stoneware, and are very heavy, hence collection only please, from Yorkshire.
They separate easily into 2 x lions, and 2 x bases, with each piece weighing around 40-50 kg.
Approx Dimensions (mm):
Each Base Height Depth Width
400 470 560
Each Lion 570 470 360
As can be seen from the photos they are highly decorated in mainly green and gold. There are a few small blemishes consistent with their age, I've owned them for about 40 years.
