Offered is a rare complete specimen of a possibly new species of Ectillaenus from a classical Ordovician locality, originally described by a British colonial-era palaeontologist (Reed) in Southwest China found near the border with Myanmar.

Locality: Baoshan, Yunnan province, China
Age: Darriwilian stage, Ordovician period
Geological Context: Didymograptus artus biozone, Shihtien formation
The specimen has a crack glued (through the cephalon) and I prepared it thereafter using pneumatic microchisels.
