“Sette sigilli” is a work made for a very important historic exhibition entitled “Fotomedia”, held in Milan at Rotonda della Besana in 1975. Vincenzo Agnetti (1926 -1981), a very important Milanese artist, made his debut in the late 1950s, combining informal painting with the activity of critic, essayist and theorist. So he worked and experimented outside painting during years of travels, until 1967 when he came back to Italy and supported the artistic practice as pure analysis of concepts. Thanks to his participation in important historic exhibitions since the 1970s, he was the “father” of the Italian conceptual art.
