Unique piece, vertical drill unit on pedestal. Made around the beginning of the 20th century and was used in the field during the First World War to treat soldiers. Drive mechanism: foot pedal powering the flywheel. From flywheel transmission to pulley from which, via flexible axis, the turning movement is transferred to the drill. Cast iron parts painted black with the maker's initials hammered in the foot pedal. In reasonable condition, with the hose somewhat degraded, and the drill head itself is not there.
