Originally from L'oeuvre complet de Rembrandt by Eugène Dutuit (2 Vol.)
Thus printed in an edition of only 500 copies.
The printed numbers 173 and 174 refer to the description of the work by Dutuit (Vol II) ; Dutuit presumed the farmers to be beggars.

Impression of plate 135 x 60 (173) resp. 129 x 58 (174) mm.

On the left on both prints the watermark of the Dutch factory Van Gelder, supplier of the paper to Charreyre, is visible.
Condition: paper with only a few minor rust-spots recto and verso; right side of paper slightly frayed (original); left of paper somewhat uneven; image absolutely fine.
