Indian opening lotus incense burner - Bronze/ Brass - India - Second half 20th century
A beautiful incense burner, in the shape of a lotus flower resting on a turtle. There is a screw in the middle and by turning it the lotus flower can be opened or closed. A very beautiful object. These incense burners are still made today but this is an older piece from 1950-1970 with beautiful patina.
12 cm high, 6,5 cm wide, 9 cm deep when closed
16 cm diameter when fully opened
Overall good condition with nice patina and soot in the interior from use.
