Two Aku`aba fertility dolls from the Ashanti people of Ghana. Appealing figures with a great patina of use. This couple is in good tribally used condition.
Both figures stands unstable on it`s own. This can easily solved with a piece of cardboard.
Provenance: former private collection from Belgium. Collected in the period 1953 - 1959 (More details provided to buyer).
Sold with a certificate of authenticity.
