Very rare 1936 Chevrolet Business Coupe in exceptionally beautiful condition.
Very original vehicle with all the original details and the original engine. The 1936 business coupe was one of the very first business coupes. A car without (removable) rear bench intended for businessmen who travelled around with their merchandise.
The original 216 cui 3.5L matching numbers 6 in-line engine starts and runs very well. The manual 3-speed gearbox shifts well.
Technically completely restored. Nothing was left untouched. All brakes, bushings, bearings, cylinders, pipes, hoses, ball joints etc were renewed or overhauled. It is technically in excellent condition.
The body and the woodwork are also in very good condition. This was the last year of manufacture with a partially wooden bodywork frame. The paintwork is very nice and has a deep shine. All the chrome has been renewed.
The interior looks neat. All instruments work properly.
The Chevy has original 17" artillery wheels with Firestone deluxe whitewall tyres.
