Since his early youth (1943) and after training and collaboration with multiple Vallauris ceramists, Albert Thiry (1932-2009) and his wife Pyot have been active since the 1960s as artists in their own ceramic studio in Vallauris. In 1971, Pyot en Albert Thiry received the honorary diploma at the Vallauris Art Ceramics Biennale. he has exhibited with his works all over the world (amongst others in the USA, Japan, Germany, Paris etc.). This handmade bowl with a floral theme is signed on the bottom and is in wonderful condition. 40 x 32 cm. Will be safely packaged and shipped. Pick-up is also possible within a week after the auction closes. Take note: Buyers outside Europe need to count with possible longer delivery times than normal due to customs procedures, determined by their country.
