Antique amine / bushel for measuring wheat - Wood

A rural object dating back to the early 19th century. It was used as a standard measuring unit to measure small amounts of cereals. The grain was not weighed but rather measured in volume and the standard measure was the so-called “staio” or “amina” strictly measured and in some more recent cases even stamped by the authorities. This in particular does not have any evident stamps and therefore it is assumed that it was made at the beginning of the 1800s. Proper packaging and tracked shipping throughout Europe.
