Large wall tapestry of Ateliers d’Art de Rambouillet (France), signed A. Demay and G. Boitard Nice hunting scene. Upholstery in very good condition. Art Rambouillet tapestries produce beautiful reproductions of faithful ancient woven tapestries of the 14th and 18th century. They are made using a hand-screen printing process with a system already used in 1600. The explanation of the manufacture is on the back of the canvas (see photo). The tapestry was made on a fabric: Linen (24%) wool (26%) cotton (24%) fibranne (26%). The back of the tapestry is a burlap. There are hooks to hang the tapestry (original), visible in the photos. Dimensions: 1.85 m wide and 1.42 m high Very good condition. Will be shipped perfectly protected with tracking.
