Very elegant fruit bowl on a high moulded pressed crystal pedestal base from the Art Nouveau period, Belgian craftsmanship of the late 19th century, with the signature of the great crystal-makers of Val Saint Lambert, in perfect condition. The light makes the decoration of palmettes on the edge and diamond tips sparkle, highlighting the intercalated fruits. The Val-Saint-Lambert crystal works were founded in 1826 on the site of an ancient abbey in Seraing, near Liège, Belgium. Famous worldwide, they were produced in large quantities with a high quality.
