This plate designated the Alfred Capus square, located in the district of Auteuil in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, since 1929. Alfred Capus was born in Aix-en-Provence on November 25, 1858 and died in Neuilly-sur-Seine on November 1, 1922. He was a French journalist, novelist and playwright. Also known under the pen names of Canalis and Graindorge for Le Figaro.
