Wonderful silver plated vase by Christofle. The original model was presented in 1889 on the World Exhibition and has a decoration of a gorgeous dragonfly on both sides. The top of the vase has a flower frieze. The vase is in excellent condition and was recently polished. The name ‘Christofle’ is visible on the bottom as are two inspection marks. Marvellous Art Nouveau vase that was in the catalogue of Christofle for a long time. This piece was made after 1983 (judged by the inspection marks). A sought after and decorative piece.
