Panhard 24B "Tigre" from 1965 Original vehicle registration document and number plates from the first registration, ASI registered. NO RESERVE PRICE. This very rare Panhard is the more powerful version called ‘Tigre’, with disc brakes on all wheels and engine code B-M8S 848 cc with 60 HP. It's a unique opportunity to own a very rare car and a true 1960s icon, it's definitely one of the most beautiful Panhard BT24s still left. From 2015 to 2019, it was subject of an accurate restoration from an excellent base. The paint work in the original colour is “Malaga Burgundy red” and is in excellent condition and all the sheets and welds are original, the engine has been completely disassembled and reassembled with many new parts by a specialist in March 2019 (see invoice). The suspension and steering have also been overhauled, as have the entire electrical system. The original braking system has been updated with more modern brake pad (with normal maintenance and working perfectly). It drives comfortably and it is ready to use with its responsive engine. The car is well known among experts and spare parts were provided by Panhard Club in Rome (many new parts as unsold stock). The dashboard with original JAEGER instruments has been restored; many chrome parts and finishes are new or restored; Original interior restored keeping the originality of its upholstery (nowhere to be found); Original option CATACOLOR anti-reflective windows and external thermometer in working order; Original engine and transmission (matching numbers); Body measured with feeler gauge and with excellent values, has never suffered accidents, the engine compression tests show values equal to new (see photo); Inspection passed in September 2019 and valid until September 2020; PLEASE NOTE: Small tear on driver’s seat which was repaired from inside to keep the originality of the upholstery.
