Mimmo Rotella SeriDécollages consists of a collection of 50 multiple décollages based on the posters of classic films and on the figure of Marilyn. A SeriDécollage is made starting from a poster used as a support base. On this poster another poster is superimposed by the artist by hand. Although the SeriDécollages are multiples and there are 125 specimens of each subject, they are treated as unique works thanks to the manual intervention of Mimmo Rotella. In fact, the tears made by hand, although similar to each other, can never be perfectly equal. Collection features: 125 copies numbered with Arabic numerals, 50 numbered copies with Roman numerals and some author's proofs. Each copy is numbered in the lower left corner. Each work is signed by Mimmo Rotella in the lower right. Each work has the dry stamp of Mimmo Rotella Foundation.
