This model is from my Märklin private collection. The model may have been in a showcase for a few weeks, but has never driven a layout. To prevent "getting stuck", each model is tested about once every 2 years on a test rail strip and dynamometer.
When shipping, each model is, if necessary, fixed in its own packaging by means of small cartons / felt strips. The model is then placed in the original Märklin box and packed in sturdy brown wrapping paper, after which this box is packed in many layers of bubble wrap.
This packed box is then packaged in a sturdy cardboard box, if necessary filled with cardboard or "sealed air" elements.
Packed in this way provides good protection against the vibrations and impacts of transport.
The model is always sent sufficiently insured.
