Extremely rare, very popular among connoisseurs and in very good condition this (heavy) workbench. (This workbench comes fresh from an old house (in a shed) of 1922 where it has stood for almost 100 years).
On 1 side, the workbench is equipped with a wooden vise. The possibility is present to place the vise on the other side as well;
or attach an additional vise.
The company Nooitgedagt & Zonen Nv was founded in 1865.
It started to produce wooden skates and planes in the attic.
Early 1900 the main products of the company were planes, chisels and workbenches.
Given the excellent quality used by this company, in the year 1965 the company was allowed to carry the "royal" predicate.
In IJlst (Friesland) there is a museum in honour of this "royal" Dutch company, where the products of yesteryear can be admired.
This rare & sturdy workbench can ALSO be used as a site table, nice to decorate in a shop or office, but also nice in a large kitchen.
A real piece of Dutch history for your home.
Table 97 x 97 x 80cm
Bench 130 x 130 x 11 cm
