Design Study - Colani - Mazda Le Mans Prototype - 1983-1983

Colani Mazda Le Mans Prototype 1983 for sale, stylistic prototype therefore with no engine, the item needs a visual restoration. Condition as shown in photos. Luigi Colani (2nd August 1928-16th September 2019) was a German industrial designer. His long career began in the 1950s when he designed cars for companies such as Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Volkswagen and BMW. In 1957, he abandoned his name Lutz using the name Luigi. In the 1960s he began to design furniture and, from the 1970s onwards, expanded into several new sectors, ranging from household items such as ballpoint pens and televisions to uniforms, trucks and fully equipped kitchens. His unconventional designs have made him famous, not only in design clubs, but also to the general public. He received many awards for his designs, although his unconventional approach left him largely outside the mainstream world of industrial design. Pick up: Milan, Italy
