Two very decorative porcelain cabinet plates in Chinese export Armorial style, painted in bright enamels.
Central image depicts a lion and a unicorn in the supporting the coat of arms of the Howard family with a ribbon and inscription 'SOLA VIRTUS INVICTA' (Bravery Alone is Invincible).
Produced by Porcelaine de Paris with a red enamel Pseudo-Chinese seal mark, early 20th century.
