A Capuchin dresser in Louis Philippe style, with three and a half drawers. Entirely made of walnut wood, from the first half of the 19th century. Recently restored and finished in shellac.
The top is a single wooden board of 115 cm. It has veneered edges which ends by curving toward the first "Capuchin" drawer, whose tulip shape continues on the sides.
The sides consist of single boards, surrounded at the bottom by a band that extends over the entire perimeter of the base.
The three large drawers are enclosed, on the front, by a molded frame and are veneered in walnut with very elegant horizontal stripes.
The interior and the bottoms of the drawers are in walnut, built with dovetail joints.
The cabinet rests on two onion-shaped feet in front and two pylon-shaped ones on the back.
Padlocks need revision, the key is missing.
Size: 94x56x115 cm.
