Gilded metal inkwell, lost wax casting. Tuscan manufacturing of the mid-19th century. Copy of an original Renaissance item (Neo-Renaissance).
In very good condition, circular shape, three feet, resting on three caryatid sculptures.
The inkwell ends in the upper part with a lid surmounted by a sculpture depicting a rampant lion, serving as the inkwell closure.
