Three-piece French mantle clock, consisting of a clock in light green onyx (28x20x15 cm), a sculpture in bronze alloy (38 cm) of a women (Marianne). Also two candlesticks (each: 28x9x14) in onyx and bronze alloy. The clock set is from France (approx. 1890) and has been part of our family since then.
The clock has mechanical movement including a winding key, except for the separate clapper (dissapeared) and is in reasonable condition. One arm of the sculpture has been repaired and 1 candlestick is missing a piece of onyx. The candlesticks themselves show clear signs of wear. The clock strikes on a bell each 15 minutes; the striking mechanism is wound with the same key is still works.
