Background information: Willy Ceysens (1929-2007) was a Belgian sculptor and ornamental artist. He was educated as a jeweller, and his father an art painter and jeweller of mainly ecclesiastical art: chalices, candlesticks, tabernacles, and crosses, but also jewellery: rings, cords, but also abstract, almost mythical metal figurines.
