Pontiac - Support Choc ** - Men - 1950-1959

Beautiful and entirely original Pontiac Support Choc Anti-Magnetique Chronograph from the 1950s. This watch has a beautiful model and it is rare as well. Worth an investment. The gold-plated case is approx. 35/36mm, including the crown. The back has a steel case back with number. 400033. The "telemeter" dial is gold-coloured and has some patina, which contributes to the age and authenticity of this Pontiac. Text in red and blue. Two sub-dials. The sub-second and the "30 min" chronograph. The movement is a Landeron 48, which was released in a limited edition by Pontiac. The hand-wound movement runs well and accurately for a vintage watch. So does the chronograph. It also resets well. The service history is unknown, however. This Pontiac is overall in very neat but vintage condition - optically 8/10. The strap is beautiful, green leather and 18 mm including buckle. Suited for wrists of up to 21 cm. Comes in an original, very neat Pontiac box. NO RESERVE! In short.. rare and valuable Pontiac Chronograph from the 1950s! Please note...old chronograph watches like these deserve to be handled calmly and gently! Needless to say, this item will be shipped well-packaged and by registered - insured - post.
