Ferrari Mondial 8 This first series of the 4-people Ferrari is equipped with a 2.9L V8 mid-engine with 214hp, coupled to a 5-speed gearbox.
We recently traded a Maserati 4200GT for this Ferrari Mondial 8 from 1981 The previous owner bought the car in France, after having been inactive for a couple of years. The car is in driving condition. We recently performed a considerable amount of maintenance. Cylinder heads revised, the water pump replaced, timing belts replaced, dynamo replaced, starter motor repaired, spark plugs replaced and various rubbers and water hoses replaced.
Optically, this car is in a fair condition with a few superficial blisters at most but nothing serious. The paintwork is no longer entirely original. The interior is nice and original, it even has the original radio. The leather shows some drought and wear but deserves a proper re-conditioning. The bottom of the car shows superficial signs of corrosion but this can be treated. An instruction booklet is present, a maintenance booklet is missing. We do, of course, have documentation regarding the works that we performed ourselves.
