This Austin Healey Sprite MK 2 hasn’t been tinkered with and is exempt from Dutch road tax, it has a Dutch Periodic Vehicle Inspection valid until 14-10-2021 and a complete registration. It has a 980cc four-cylinder engine. You can immediately drive it after a transfer of ownership and insurance.

An original black soft top is included as well as removable windows. The top and windows can be placed in the boot. It has a very sporty look without the top and the windows. The whole shebang can be set up in just a few minutes if it showers.

The original LHD car starts, drives and brakes well. It has very stable road-holding and was always used and serviced. A big pile of maintenance invoices are included.

There is also a 35-year-old valuation report indicating that, at the time, it was worth 15,000 guilders. This report comes with the car.

There are a number of books in the boot and some spare parts that belong to the car. Among other things an original workshop manual.

It has a double carburettor, the upholstery is neat, the car starts, brakes and drives well.

A few things are noteworthy.

- The car has a new Dutch periodic vehicle inspection valid for 2 years.

- The car has, like any English car, the problem of some oil underneath.

- The paint has been touched up in places in the past and you can tell, as far as I’m concerned it’s simply part of its history.

- Reversing requires some skill but this will be explained during a visit or when you pick up the car after the purchase.

- The steering was recently replaced for a walnut one.
