Bouffioulx in the province Hainaut, Belgium, blossomed in the 19th and 20th century with various products made of carbon, steel and pottery. Bouffioulx is located just south-east of the Bassin de Charleroi. The body is made of excellent clay. There were approx. twenty factories active in industrial pottery and also in decorative pottery. Poterie Grégoire is well known from that period. Bouffioulx celebrated in July 2013 the 100th anniversary of Marius Grégoire, the oldest, still living master potter in the village. The vase is 46 cm tall, has a 21 cm diameter and weighs 5.5 kilograms. This wonderful vase is in excellent condition. It will be safely packaged and shipped with registration.
