This is one of Omega's greatest classic. This timepiece was designed by Gerald Genta and its name derives from its similarity to an actual pie pan. The first Pie Pans from the Omega Constellation line appeared simultaneously in late 1952, the 2699 and the 2700, screw and push variations in the same style. The 2699 was introduced with a Constellation De Luxe version and retained this shape until being replaced by the 2799 in 1956.
