Vintage Spanish ceramic short baluster vase decorated in the dry rope technique with raised-enamel flowers on an unglazed ground with blue glazed interior, made by José Aguado Villalba (1919-2007) of Jarrón de cerámica de Aguado, Toledo, Spain.
Jose Aguado Villalba is most known for his contriubutions to Spanish Ceramics and Archeology with particular attention to the discovery of the Testar de San Martin and the dry rope and edge techniques whose history reaches back to the tiles of the 15th Century.
