Beautiful glazed jug in the form of a rooster of St. Clement in France The Saint Clement pottery factory was founded in 1758 and was known for its jars in the form of animals. After 1920 the production consists of tableware and household items of fine earthenware (with often older decorations) and decorative objects (animals) in craquelé pottery (circa 1925, 1930). The production of Barbotine is continued up to 1930. This jug bears the signature B. Gaillard. On the bottom you can read the text St. Clément France. Also the jug is numbered. The lot will be properly packaged and shipped by registered mail. Photos complete this description.
