Rood Bruin Friese Workumer Aardewerk (3) - Rood Aardewerk
Three reddish-brown earthenware Frisian 19th century objects.
Among which: tea jug, porridge bowl with ear and a creamer.
The objects are nicely glazed, this earthenware is made of red-baking Frisian clay, and was baked at about 1000 degrees Celsius after a drying period.
The distinctive adornment of white-bashing clay was then applied with a cow horn of which the tip had been removed.
