Beautiful chess set crafted by the Franklin Mint, and designed by renowned artist Mark Stuart Feldman. All pieces are made from biscuit porcelain, with a 24k gilded edge and accents. The Greek Gods compete with the Roman Gods on the board. Original price of the game was over 1800 euros. The chessboard is made out of wood and marble, and also has ornaments on the side in gold. The undersides of the pieces are also splendid, with indications of the names of the gods. In overall good condition with minor traces of wear. The chess pieces are almost all in perfect condition, the tip of the spear of a white Bishop (Athena) is missing. In addition, it should be mentioned that the chess game smells like smoke, especially the white pieces are also discoloured on one side. The dimensions of the chessboard are 54 cm x 54 cm x 9 cm. The height of the king is no less than 14 cm and the total weight is 15 kg. For this reason and because of the fragility of the chess pieces, this set cannot be shipped. No delivery.
