Elegant and refined dormeuse from the late 19th century, in mahogany stained solid fine wood, with black veining.
Masterly hand carved following an art which is now disappeared.
The ivory silk upholstery needs to be revised, by applying a passementerie to cover where it’s damaged or frayed.
Resting on 4 unmovable and carved feet.
