Large gilt bronze eagle on a lightning staff. The wings are outstretched. This is probably a flag ornament, in Empire style. The bronze is drilled in several places as if to put something to fix it. It is in good condition except for a slight notch on one wing and one between the claws (see photos). The lightning staff on which it is placed is longer than usual on this type of eagle. The base enhances it and is very stable. it weighs 1.186 kg without the base. Sold with the base.
