The 'Dekorative Vorbilder' was a decorative arts periodical published by Julius Hoffman in Stuttgart, Germany from 1890 until the late 1920s. The series featured work from a variety of artists, and it was described by the press as “a compilation of figurative representations, applied-art embellishments, plastic ornaments, decorative animal and plant studies, allegories, trophies, heraldic motifs, etc.” The French version was named :"Le Journal de la Decoration", a luxury publication, edited by Armand Guerinet in Paris.

A nice pair of wooden lion head console, received in good condition complying with the website pictures under good packing with plastic foam sheet .
Everything OK. Excellent Seller.
Great item, well packed.
Excellent books from recommended seller.
Will keep my cards but better description next time please. Sets were listed as French and Dutch. Not one set was as listed. All sets were either Belgian or Flemish. The expert should know better. Please note: some elements on this page have been translated automatically.Dear sir,
Thanks for your remark, but sorry to read your complain.
The misunderstanding comes from the fact that in Belgium there are two official languages: French and Dutch. (Flemish is a region and not a language). By mentioning that the cards are French and Dutch I referred to the text (language) on the cards, not the country.
I will take your remark in mind, and be more specific next time. Sorry.
At this moment there is one more book on auction. I can not change the description anymore at this moment.
The seller will ship the item(s) within 3 working days after receiving confirmation of payment.
