1972 Citroën DS23 Pallas Injection Electronique and Automatique Borg Warner History: French import. The bodywork has been restored in the past, and was completely repainted. A good paintjob and today the paint is still beautiful. The color is, apart from the black roof, gray metallic. The chassis is fine and original and has a rust free preventer ( tectyl) The interior had been completely refurbished in the orginal version and is in a beautiful condition. The carpet and the fabric canopy are light gray and the front seats (with removable headrests), the back seat and the doors are fitted with black leather. The moving parts : these have recently been replaced where necesarry and several photos of these are available : the Injection engine had been completely overhauled (including pistons, cylinders, bearings, distribution and cylinder head parts) and now has an electronic 1-2-3 ignition, a new dynamo and a a high power starter motor supplemented with a new battery and a new electric petrol pump. The fully automatic Borg Warner 3-speed gearbox has also been completely overhauled. The kick-down works well and the gears change smoothly and without noise. New brake discs, brake pads and brake cylinder parts. Extra: the orginal Blaupunkt radio, the tinted glass and the headrests. The dashboard is perfectly well and has all working gauges, including a watertemperature gauge. The tires all have a 100% profile. This DS is in an orginal version and in a very good condition. Much attention has been paid to finish, technology and details. km 53900 and MOT until 5 Septembre 2021. Is admitted to the environmental zones in the major cities in The Netherlands.
