Spectacular pair of Martaban vases from south-east Asia.
These were traditionally used for trading in goods in the port of Martaban (hence, their name), Burma, from where they were exported following different trade routes.
Made of stoneware and enamelled with embossed dragons and four handles.
They are in good condition, but one of the handles has some defects.
