In 1920 the pottery factory La Céramique Montoise (C.M.) was founded by Antoine Dubois, Henri & Felix Souweine, Jules Deprez and Samuel Wolff. The company was operational until 1949, after which it was continued by René Dubois, Antoine's son. The company produced a fine range of Art Deco ceramics, including this piece that clearly emulates the Plateel ceramics of Gouda, Netherlands. Marked to the underside with "303", C.M. Bergen, artist's signature and model number D150. Estimated age: Circa 1920-1930s. Condition: Very good, no damages or repairs. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
