Glazed earthenware figurine ‘Little Bird’, model number ‘1040’, by the renowned Royal Copenhagen. The dimensions are 4 x 4 x 7 cm. Model number ‘1040’. The renowned logo on the bottom with the marks and the designer’s signature ‘DE’. The colours of the bird: blue head, beige-white beak, beige cheeks, grey-blue back and taupe, blue tail and the rest of the body grey-white. In perfect condition, not a single scratch, a lovely copy. The piece has always been kept in a closed glass cabinet with multiple other sculptures by Royal Copenhagen. This bird is from a collection of Royal Copenhagen figurines that my passed away in-laws have collected over the years.
