Stunning and extremely rare Omega Naiad Medicus. This watch was produced in the late 1930s and is the first Omega with a central second hand, and also the first Omega with a waterproof case. This Omega is called the Medicus because the central second hand was mainly used by doctors to measure pulsations. Historically a very important watch. Steel 30.5 mm case in very good condition. The case is fairly thick, which makes it seem larger. Exceptional patina on the dial in various shades of brown. Beautiful simple Arabic numerals and beautiful refined hands set. The case back is in perfect condition and everything is clearly visible. The calibre 23.4SC is in very good condition and is still accurate.
