Magnificent polychrome enamel ball-shaped ‘boule’ vase. Very rare model and made in a limited issue. This is no. 24 of 50. Designed and made by Danillo Curetti (1953-1993) in 1983. With fine crackle. In Art Deco style. The vase is a reference to the transatlantic steamer travel. Stamped on the bottom with ‘EMAUX de LONGWY’. Signed on the bottom by the artist Danillo Curetti, his monogram ‘DC’ in gold on the vase next to the ship. Model: ‘NORMANDIE’. Made in France. In brilliant condition. It is approx. 38 cm tall and has a 34 cm diameter. It weighs approx. 5 kilograms. The item can be picked-up in Aarschot, Belgium, after consultation. The piece will be extremely thoroughly packaged and shipped with Track & Trace.
