Beautiful English tea service produced by the old English manufacturer Hammersley & Co, active in Longton at Stoke-on-Trent since 1887. The service can be dated to the early 20th century. The service consists of: - 1 teapot - width 13 cm - length 25.5 cm - height 14 cm - 1 teapot support - width 13 cm - length 16.5 cm - height 1.5 cm - 6 tea cups - diameter 19.5 cm - height 6 cm - 6 saucers for the cups - diameter 14 cm - 6 dessert plates - diameter 18 cm - 1 large plate to serve desserts - width 22.5 cm - length 26 cm - height 3.5 cm - 1 sugar bowl - diameter 13 cm - height 6.5 cm - 1 milk pitcher - width 10 cm - length 12 cm - height 8 cm The service is used but is in good condition. It has no cracks, chips or hairlines except for the cover of the teapot that presents a break that was glued back (see photos). Some of the gilding is a bit worn.
