Beautifully decorated damchiya (wedding case). Originating from Rajasthan, India, early 19th century. Refined and high–quality carvings. Very heavy case.
The case is in good condition. The left cabinet of the case has been restored once and this is somewhat visible, but not striking (see the last 2 photos).
The case was imported to the Netherlands approx. 40 years ago.
The case must be picked up in Deventer, the Netherlands.
