Stunning Carrara marble torso depicting a male body, most likely Hercules. The genital organ was an add-on and unfortunately went lost: only the hole with lead inside remains. The artefact stands on a marble base. The two pieces are joint by a very rusty metal pin, coeval to the sculpture. The pin is fixed to the base with lead, as shown in the photos. The sculpture still has its original patina, though it has been cleaned in the last decades, probably by my father who created the whole collection. Even if it dates back not before the 1960s, it is anyway a beautiful decorative sculpture.
